INTERNATIONAL COALITION OF FAMILY FOR EDUCATION
In Haiti sending kids to school have always been a challenge for thousands of family in Haiti . Now after the earthquake the situation has worsened. Countless of schools were destroyed earlier this year.
According to the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF), more than 4,000 schools were destroyed when the earthquake struck Haiti on January 12. The country was devastated as more than 200,000 people died, many others were hurt, and a million more became homeless. Haiti's capital and surrounding areas were left in ruins.
Rebuilding crumbled school buildings will take a long time, and this is where your help and effort will be beneficial.
one thing we learn in giving to charity , bigger is not always better and we have seen that despite all the efforts of the international community people are still living under very difficult situations. As a small organization, that has been established long before the deadly earthquake of January 12th., 2010, we have relentlessly pursue our dream and use our own resources to go directly to the people and being able to make a difference.
Our main mission is to provide help for several schools in the area of Moles Saint Nicolas, Department-Northwest of Haiti, where the children have little or no opportunity to get an education, money to get school supplies and even the teachers go for months without pay. We are also overwhelmed in the numbers of people that are asking for our help after the earthquake. There is a pressing need to reach out to other cities and other causes as well. Your effort and participation will be greatly appreciated.
You can go to our website and click on the Donate Button and and we will make sure that many families in Haiti will not have to pick which one of those kids will be going to school, which one will be helping in the farm or stay home altogether..... You decide
No amount is too small to donate...
