Jean Yves Jason Muscadin wished that Carnival 2009 will be the Carnival of all . Also, he expects a large mobilization of the private sector to help put more colors and new products and enable more bands to participate. The pre-carnival activities will also begin from this Sunday in the capital and throughout the country (this is the tradition that the carnival starts at the end of the Epiphany, the Feast of Kings).

Carnival is the most anticipated cultural event of the year in Haiti. Carnival is a festival event celebrating freedom through dancing, singing, parades, pageantry, music, drinks, food, friends and fun.
