A group of like-minded organizations have joined Haiti Without Borders under the umbrella of United For Haiti for our Orlando Tent Drive. In association with Commissioner Samuel B. Ings of the City of Orlando and Bishop Alan T.D. Wiggins of the Hope church of Orlando, we would like to invite you to join us in this special event to raise awareness and collect some tents for Haiti. This is part 2 of our effort to collect 4000 tents for Haiti before the rainy season. We ask that you show your love for Haiti by bringing a tent with you. Tent prices range from $39.95 to $149.95 at Walmart or Gander Mountains. You can also donate online at: hwbconnect.org
The event will take place on Thursday April 22, 2010 at our Tent City located at the grounds of The Hope Church of Orlando, in the corner of John Young Parkway and Columbia St. from 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
